Malichus II. (Maliku, Malichos) war König der Nabatäer von 40 bis 71. Er ist der älteste Sohn von Aretas IV. und seiner Frau Shaqilath.

Während seiner Regierung verloren die Nabatäer an Stärke. Die Römer hatten die Gewürzrouten und Schifffrachten nach Ägypten umgeleitet. Da Rom überlegen war, musste Malichus kooperieren.

66 ereignete sich ein jüdischer Aufstand in Judäa. Malichus sandte eine Kavallerie mit 5000 Reitern und eine Infanterie mit 1000 Fußsoldaten, um Titus zu unterstützen.

Unter Malichus II. verlor Nabatu die Kontrolle über Damaskus, er konnte allerdings das Gebiet östlich und südöstlich von Damaskus verteidigen. Mehrere nabatäische Städte, wie Oboda, wurden durch von Süden her einfallenden Nomadenstämmen zerstört.
