Der Dsungarische Alatau (kirgisisch: Alatau = buntes Gebirge) ist ein Hochgebirge (bis 4.463 Meter) im Osten Kasachstans, entlang der Grenze zu China.

Das Gebirge verläuft in Ost-West-Richtung und wird begrenzt von der Talebene des Ili im Westen und der Dsungarischen Pforte im Osten. Nördlich des Alatau befindet sich das Siebenstromland, im Süden schließt sich der Borochoro Shan an.
